It is due to this that a number of games have failed to release officially in India, such as Dragon Age: Inquisition, for fears of falling afoul of Indian obscenity laws, or Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, for fear of offending Indian sensibilities because the game allowed the slaughtering of mutated cows called ‘Brahmins’, etc. With the exception of such content in relation to children, the creation and consumption of such content is not prohibited.
